Discover the story and vision behind Glating International School
Glating International School was established with a clear and heartfelt purpose: to provide quality education and compassionate childcare for children of busy professionals in Tamale and its surrounding communities.
The school was born out of a growing concern shared by many working parents: the worry about the safety and wellbeing of their children in the hands of caregivers. Inspired by the director's own personal experiences and observations of child maltreatment by some caregivers, a vision took shape — to create a space where children are not only educated but genuinely protected, valued, and nurtured. A place where parents can go to work each day with complete peace of mind.

Our Founder's Vision
At the heart of Glating International School is its director, a passionate educationist with a background in international education and expertise in Gender, Women, Peace, and Security issues. Driven by her love for children and commitment to educational equity, she founded the school to ensure that children in Tamale and its surrounding communities have access to the same quality of international education as their peers in Accra, Kumasi, and other major cities across Ghana.
